Bandsaw Blades
E/NCT WIDE BANDSAW BLADES
E/nct material has been developed as a high quality grade of steel specifically
for the manufacture of woodcutting bandsaw blades.
It has very good wear resistance and its compromise between toughness, ductility
and hardness makes it possible to swage set the teeth without fracture.
All our steels undergo strict inspection before use and during manufacture.
These procedures plus our brand mark are your guarantee of a consistent high quality product.
Set and hard tipped ready to run blades. NARROW BANDSAW BLADES Woodmill Bandsaw
Manufactured from high quality carbon steel, this large toothed bandsaw has been specifically
designed for the wood cutting and logging industries.
It features a large hook tooth with a deep gullet for good chip formation and clearance.
Its sturdy backing materials ensures straightness of cut under the high feed pressures used in this
industry. Bi Metal Narrow Bandsaw
A metal cutting bandsaw blade, grey in colour and usually with a varitooth pattern.
Used on horizontal and vertical bandsaws in all types of metal sawing shops.
Tooth hardness Rc 67-69 8% cobalt. Two part construction consisting of a high speed
steel edge material electron beam welded to an alloy spring steel backing.
For cutting medium and high toughness steels, and alloy steels and other metals.
This blade has more heat and wear resistance than matrix and is preferred in production environments.
File Resharpenable Bandsaw Blades
These are file sharpenable and are available as coil strip, toothed only, tooth set sharpened or
as bandsaw blades ready for use. Raker Set - Hard Tooth Flexible Back
The standard blade for all general purpose sawing, including straight and profile
cutting, cut off and trimming work, on all materials and on every type of machine. Skip Tooth - Hard Tooth Flexible Back
Originally introduced for fast cutting of non-ferrous metals.
It is now used extensively on nearly all forms of plastic, woods and other non-metallics.
The wide gullets give big chip clearance and eliminate clogging. Hook Tooth - Hard Tooth Flexible Back
Similar to skip but with 10º positive rake and a long curved gullet.
The tooth bites into the metal giving greater penetration and faster cutting on the
harder types of non-ferrous metals and low alloy steels of large diameters. Hard Tooth - Hard Tooth Flexible Back
The technique of friction (or fusion) sawing, at lineal speeds from 7,000 to 15,000
f.p.m is particularly suitable for materials which are difficult to machine e.g.
nimonics, stainless steels, and armour plate.
Friction bandsaws are found to be the ideal saws for these applications, which are
limited to a maximum thickness of approx. 3/4".
